在华外同文外国语学校创新融合部(I-EP),学习从未被局限于教室的方寸之间。在第二单元的学习中,四至六年级的同学们分别踏上了独具意义的外出探究之旅,在不同的地点深入挖掘知识的宝藏,拓展视野,收获成长。
In the Innovation and Integration Department (I-EP) of Huawai Tongman Foreign Language School, learning is never confined within the four walls of the classroom. During the study of Unit 2, students from grades 4 to 6 respectively embarked on unique field exploration trips, delving deep into the treasures of knowledge in different places, broadening their horizons and achieving growth.
四年级的同学们怀揣着好奇与求知欲,走进了广东华侨博物馆。此次探究活动紧扣 “我们身处什么时空” 这一主题,围绕 “人类迁移是对挑战、风险和机遇的反应” 这一中心思想展开。
The fourth-grade students entered the Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum with curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. This exploration activity closely revolved around the theme of "Where are we in time and space" and centered on the core idea that "human migration is a response to challenges, risks and opportunities".
在专业导师的精彩讲解下,同学们穿越时空,回溯广东人移民海外的漫长历史。他们聆听着先辈们因战争、贫困、追求更好生活等原因而背井离乡的故事,深刻理解了迁移背后复杂的历史原因。那些华侨在海外艰苦奋斗,在各个领域做出的杰出贡献,如在商业、文化交流等方面的成就,也让同学们心生敬佩。
Under the wonderful explanation of the professional tutor, the students seemed to travel through time and space, tracing back the long history of Guangdong people migrating overseas. They listened to the stories of their ancestors leaving their hometowns due to war, poverty, the pursuit of a better life and other reasons, and deeply understood the complex historical reasons behind the migration. The outstanding contributions made by those overseas Chinese in various fields through their hard work abroad, such as achievements in business and cultural exchanges, also made the students feel admiration.
自由寻迹环节,同学们如同探索未知宝藏的探险家,深入挖掘华侨的产生过程以及他们对中国在文化传播、经济支持等多方面产生的深远影响。他们仔细观察着馆内的每一件展品,认真记录着自己的发现与思考,积极参与小组讨论,交流各自对迁移现象的感悟。通过这次活动,同学们不仅对人类迁移有了更全面、深入的认识,也更加懂得珍惜当下多元文化交融的社会环境。
In the subsequent free exploration session, the students were like explorers searching for unknown treasures, deeply exploring the process of the emergence of overseas Chinese and their far-reaching impacts on China in aspects such as cultural dissemination and economic support. They carefully observed each exhibit in the museum, seriously recorded their discoveries and thoughts, actively participated in group discussions and exchanged their feelings about the migration phenomenon. Through this activity, the students not only had a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of human migration but also learned to cherish the current social environment of multicultural integration.
五年级的同学们踏入了佛山的清晖园,开启了一场与历史的亲密邂逅。以 “我们身处什么时空” 为主题,以 “过去文明的证据可以用来与当今的社会联系起来” 为中心思想,同学们在这座古老园林中探寻着文明与社会的脉络。
The fifth-grade students stepped into the Qinghui Garden in Foshan, starting an intimate encounter with history. With the theme of "Where are we in time and space" and the core idea that "the evidence of past civilizations can be used to connect with today's society", the students explored the veins of civilization and society in this ancient garden.
在讲解员的引导下,同学们了解到清晖园的建筑风格、园林布局所蕴含的传统文化内涵,以及它所见证的历史变迁。
At the beginning of the activity, the students first had a preliminary understanding and observation of the history in the garden. Under the guidance of the tour guide, they learned about the traditional cultural connotations contained in the architectural style and garden layout of Qinghui Garden, as well as the historical changes it has witnessed.
漫步于三狮山、花亭、船厅等各处景点,同学们亲身感受着古色古香的亭台楼阁、曲径通幽的园林小径、错落有致的花木景观。每一处景致都仿佛在诉说着过去的故事,沉浸其中,同学们思索着过去文明的特征,探寻着过去与现在在建筑风格、生活方式、审美观念等方面千丝万缕的联系。这些历史遗产不仅是岁月的沉淀,更是当代社会文化传承与发展的重要源泉,对未来社会的文化走向、城市建设等有着不可忽视的启示作用。
In the following tour session, the students strolled through various scenic spots such as Sanshi Mountain, Huating, Boat Hall, etc., personally experiencing the antique pavilions and towers, the secluded garden paths and the well-arranged flower and tree landscapes. Each scenery seemed to tell the stories of the past. The students were immersed in it, thinking about the characteristics of past civilizations and exploring the countless connections between the past and the present in terms of architectural style, lifestyle, aesthetic concepts and so on. They realized that these historical heritages are not only the precipitation of time but also an important source for the inheritance and development of contemporary social culture, having an inestimable enlightening effect on the cultural trend and urban construction of future society.
六年级的同学们来到了广州益力多乳品工厂,围绕 “贸易” 这一主题展开深入探究,中心思想聚焦于 “消费者责任影响本地和全球贸易”。
The sixth-grade students came to the Guangzhou Yakult Dairy Factory to conduct an in-depth exploration around the theme of "trade", with the core idea focusing on "consumer responsibility affects local and global trade".
专业人员为同学们详细讲解了益力多的发展历程,并通过一段精彩的影片让大家深入了解其背后的故事。同学们聚精会神地聆听与观看,从中初步理解了贸易的运作机制,包括产品的研发、生产、销售以及市场拓展等环节。在专业人员的带领下,同学们走进了益力多的生产线。亲眼目睹一瓶瓶益力多从原材料到成品的生产过程,他们深刻认识到工厂作为贸易链中关键一环的重要性,以及它是如何与全球市场紧密相连的。工厂需要采购来自各地的原材料,生产出的产品又销售到全球各地,这其中涉及到物流、市场需求、质量控制等诸多影响贸易的因素。
First of all, the professional staff gave the students a detailed introduction to the development history of Yakult and let everyone deeply understand the story behind it through an exciting film. The students listened and watched attentively and initially understood the operation mechanism of trade, including product research and development, production, sales and market expansion. Then, under the leadership of the professional staff, the students entered the production line of Yakult. Witnessing the production process of bottles of Yakult from raw materials to finished products with their own eyes, they deeply realized the importance of the factory as a crucial link in the trade chain and how it is closely connected to the global market. The factory needs to purchase raw materials from various places and sell the produced products all over the world, which involves many factors affecting trade such as logistics, market demand and quality control.
在麦德龙超市进行选购体验这个过程中,他们开始思考作为消费者的责任。如何通过选择优质、环保、可持续生产的产品,来影响本地和全球贸易的发展方向。同学们意识到,自己的每一个消费选择,都可能在贸易的大舞台上产生蝴蝶效应,从而更加注重培养理性、负责任的消费观念。
Finally, the students came to Metro supermarket for a shopping experience. During this process, they began to think about their responsibilities as consumers. How to influence the development direction of local and global trade by choosing high-quality, environmentally friendly and sustainably produced products. The students realized that each of their consumption choices may have a butterfly effect on the large stage of trade, so they pay more attention to cultivating rational and responsible consumption concepts.
这一系列外出探究活动,是 I-EP 教育理念的生动实践。同学们走出校园,在真实的场景中观察、思考、学习,将理论知识与实际体验相结合。他们在广东华侨博物馆感受人类迁移的波澜壮阔,在清晖园领略古今文明的传承交融,在益力多乳品工厂探究贸易的复杂奥秘。这些宝贵的经历,无疑将成为他们成长道路上的璀璨明珠,为他们未来的学习与生活奠定坚实的基础,助力他们成长为具有广阔视野、深刻洞察力和强烈社会责任感的新时代少年。
This series of field exploration activities is a vivid practice of the I-EP educational concept. The students walked out of the campus, observed, thought and learned in real scenarios, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. They felt the magnificent waves of human migration in the Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum, appreciated the inheritance and integration of ancient and modern civilizations in Qinghui Garden and explored the complex mysteries of trade in the Yakult Dairy Factory. These precious experiences will undoubtedly become bright pearls on their growth path, laying a solid foundation for their future learning and life and helping them grow into new-era teenagers with broad vision, profound insight and a strong sense of social responsibility.
