Tony Lee is the vice president of the Affiliated Foreign Language School of South China Normal University. Julia Lee is the vice president of the Affiliated Foreign Language School of South China Normal University. Having been engaged 18 years on international education, she has abundant experiences of education management, and won the title of “Cambridge English star teacher. With the significant experience in foreign exchange and cooperation, she organizes and motivates the school-based curriculum reform in SCNUFL.
Mandy Huang is the director of Academic Office of the Foreign Language School of SCNU. With 25 years of teaching experience and 8 years of being the director of Dean’s Office, she is experienced and is the First-grade teacher of secondary school, the core teacher of district-level and the outstanding teacher of non-government funded education in Guangzhou. Taking part in Chinese Courses Reform Experiment of Emotion, Logic, Knowledge and Ability, curriculum development and implementation plan and other research, she won the Municipal-level First Prize of Chinese Reading Competition and the First Prize of Chinese Newspaper Cup ’s Writing Instruction of National High School Students Writing Competition.
Mr. Ren, the Associate Director of Office of Students’ Development and Counseling of Foreign Language School of SCNU, is in charge of the department. He is the core head teacher of provincial level and outstanding moral education teacher of municipal level. With 26 years of students’ management experience, he participated in national moral education research of the twelfth five-year plan. Being experienced in students’ formative education, mental health counseling and guiding students’ development, many of his papers and research results got the national first prize.
Max Wu is the deputy director of Student Development Guidance of the Affiliated Foreign Language School of SCNU, the member of Guangzhou Teaching Research Center, advanced personal of education in Baiyun District, and has got the Bank B certificate of Mental Health Education in Primary and Middle Schools in Guangdong province. He has worked as a teacher for 4 years and teaching administrator for 9 years in the English School Attached to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He has been awarded the first prize of teacher business competition of Baiyun District, the first prize on paper of National "thousand class million people," and has made a demonstration class exchange with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, "four places on both sides of the Taiwan straits" representing Guangdong province.
Gary Guo is the deputy director of Department of Administrative and Service Support the Affiliated Foreign Language School of SCNU. He is very experienced in education, and also worked in the fields of translation, foreign affairs management, activity plan and foreign project management. He received awards from the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs P.R.China, and was sent to some countries and regions to study and work by the state.
Lynn Lin, deputy director of Department of Curriculum and Teacher Development, has 5 years experience in K-12 schools. She was the assistant MYP Coordinator in a school that runs IB MYP programs, hence her exploration and understanding of international education. She’s been an English teacher for more than 7 years.
